This is the black version of the Uniview IPC3628LE-ADF28K-WP: an 8MP eyeball network camera with a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and a fixed 2.8mm lens. Uniview's datasheet title names ColorHunter with Wise-ISP, and the specification lists a warm supplemental light rather than an IR illuminator.

What the IPC3628LE-ADF28K-WP-BLACK is for

The specification figures below are Uniview's for the 2.8mm model; the black colour is the only difference we state. The 2.8mm lens gives a 111.0° horizontal, 63.0° vertical and 131.0° diagonal field of view, and Uniview's DORI distances for it are 63.0 m detect, 25.2 m observe, 12.6 m recognise and 6.3 m identify.

Minimum illumination is 0.0003 lux in colour (F1.0, AGC on), with a warm light that reaches 30 m and switches auto or manual. WDR is 120 dB, protection is IP67 and it operates from -30°C to 60°C.

What you will need

Power it over PoE (IEEE 802.3af) from a PoE switch or a recorder's PoE port, or use 12 V DC on the Ø5.5 mm plug. For recording, use an NVR that handles 8MP streams, or a MicroSD card up to 512 GB. Add surveillance hard drives to the recorder and network cable for the run. The network port is 10/100 Mbps.
