The Uniview NVR501-08B-P8-IQ records up to eight IP cameras and powers PoE cameras through eight built-in PoE ports. It has one SATA bay taking a drive of up to 24 TB, in a 1U case.
What the NVR501-08B-P8-IQ is for
This recorder suits an eight-camera IP system cabled directly to it. Each PoE port supplies up to 30 W, but the maximum across all eight ports is 75 W, so the combined draw of your cameras must stay within that figure. It supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at.
Incoming and outgoing bandwidth are both 80 Mbps. It decodes Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 and records at resolutions up to 16 MP.
With smart functions off it can decode 8 x 4MP at 30 frames per second; with smart on, 6 x 4MP at 30 or 8 x 3MP at 30. The resolution of each channel cannot exceed 8192 pixels in length and 4096 in width.
