NVR516-128E-R-IM — 128-Channel Network Video Recorder with 16 SATA Bays
The NVR516-128E-R-IM is the 128-channel model in the Uniview NVR516-R-IM series, a 3U rack unit with 16 SATA interfaces. It decodes Ultra 265, H.265 and H.264 video and supports a redundant power supply.
What the NVR516-128E-R-IM is for
This recorder is for large IP camera systems of up to 128 channels that need many drives in one unit. Incoming bandwidth is 768 Mbps with 8K off (512 Mbps with 8K on) and outgoing 768 Mbps with 8K off (640 Mbps with 8K on).
Sixteen SATA interfaces take drives of up to 24 TB each, with hot swap and RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. HDMI1 outputs up to 8K at 30 Hz. Uniview lists smart functions such as Smart Intrusion Prevention and Ultra Motion Detection, and the recorder is listed as NDAA compliant. No PoE ports are listed.

What you will need
You need IP cameras, a PoE switch or other power for them (no PoE ports are listed), and network cabling. Add surveillance hard drives up to the 16 bays, as none are listed as supplied.
