The PKC2641-Z28-P is a Uniview 4MP licence plate recognition (ANPR) bullet camera with a 2.8 to 12mm lens. It has a built-in warm light module, relay outputs and barrier opening policies.

What the PKC2641-Z28-P is for

Uniview lists this model for entrances and exits at up to 30 km/h and for regular roads up to 80 km/h, and says it can serve road and entry or exit scenes at once without switching. The 2.8 to 12mm lens gives a horizontal field of view of 106.4° to 50.3°.

Vehicle detection uses video detection, and plates with numbers and letters are recognised by default; the United Kingdom is in the supported countries and regions list. It recognises vehicle type, colour and manufacturer, and holds allowlists and blocklists of 20,000 items each.

Illumination is 4 warm light LEDs at 50 m with automatic on/off. Minimum illumination is 0.0005 lux (F1.4).

What you will need

Power needs PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at, class 4) from a PoE switch or injector, or a 12 V DC supply; maximum consumption is 20 W. Uniview lists a 3-axis mounting bracket and a junction box for the tail cable with the camera. Add network cable for its 10/100 Mbps port and an NVR or microSD card up to 512 GB to store footage. A barrier needs access control equipment wired to the relay outputs.
