Valcom VIP-811A - IP Gateway FXS Station Port
The Valcom VIP-811A is a network station port with one RJ-11 FXS connection. Valcom describes it as enabling telephones to engage in paging and phone-to-phone communications over an IP-based network, with concurrent SIP and multicast. It has a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, is powered by an 802.3af PoE switch, provides 2 Form C relay contacts and is housed in steel with a black powder-coated finish for wall or table mounting.

Valcom lists Power over Ethernet from an 802.3af switch (Class 3); the power requirement is 24 V DC at 325 mA.
How many phones can it connect?
One. It has a single RJ-11 FXS connection. Valcom lists the VIP-812B and VIP-814B as other options.
Does it support SIP?
Valcom lists concurrent SIP and multicast.
Can it be wall mounted?
Yes. Valcom supplies rubber pads for table placement and two brackets for wall mounting.
