The Yealink RCH40 E2 is a compact Gigabit PoE+ switch designed for meeting room audio and video networking. It has four Gigabit Ethernet downlink ports and one Gigabit uplink, supports 802.3af/at with up to 30W per port, and has a total PoE budget of up to 90W with PoE priority control. Of the two editions, only the E2 has QoS and EEE disabled.

What the RCH40 E2 is for

It powers and connects Yealink room devices. Yealink states that CM20 ceiling microphones, CS10 ceiling speakers and Dante devices only work with the RCH40 E2, because they need EEE disabled. It is also part of the MVC S98-C5U kit. See our video conferencing range and more Yealink products.

The E2 adds QoS and has EEE disabled. Yealink states that CM20, CS10 and Dante devices only work with the RCH40 E2.
