The ZS-SPC/37 is a tiny colour pinhole camera whose lens sits behind what looks like an ordinary screw head, so it can be fitted flush into a panel, shelf edge, ceiling tile or cabinet where a visible camera would be noticed. It is an analogue, standard-definition (CVBS) camera — around 800 TV lines, PAL 786 × 576 — not a high-definition camera, and it is intended for adding a discreet channel to an existing DVR rather than for identification-quality footage. It has a built-in microphone; recording audio is regulated more strictly than video in the UK, so check the covert camera guidance before enabling it.

What you need to use it
- A DVR or XVR with a spare analogue (CVBS) channel. Most Hikvision, HiLook and Dahua Turbo HD / XVR recorders accept CVBS on their coax inputs; an IP-only NVR will not.
- A 12 V DC supply — a spare output on a multi-way CCTV power supply is ideal.
- RG59 or shotgun coax back to the recorder, terminated with a BNC — see bulk coaxial cable.
