Superior MotionProtect Jeweller is a battery-powered PIR motion detector in the Ajax Superior range, which Ajax positions as its professional line. It covers up to 12 m across 88.5°, ignores pets up to 20 kg and 50 cm tall, and reports over the Jeweller radio with up to 1,700 m range in open space. A holding screw locks it to its SmartBracket, the housing is rated IK04, and one CR123A battery lasts up to 5 years by Ajax calculation. Choose white or black above.

Common questions
How is it different from MotionProtect Jeweller?
Both use a PIR sensor with up to 12 m detection and 20 kg pet immunity. Going by the Ajax specifications, the Superior version adds a holding screw for the SmartBracket, an IK04 impact rating and INCERT and NF&A2P certification.
Will pets set it off?
Ajax quotes pet immunity for animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm tall, with the detector mounted at the recommended 2.4 m.
How long does the battery last?
Ajax calculates up to 5 years from one CR123A cell, which comes fitted.
Does it have a microwave sensor?
No, it is PIR only. If you want PIR plus microwave in the Superior range, look at Superior MotionProtect Plus Jeweller.
Can it be fitted outdoors?
No. Ajax rates it for indoor use only, at -10 °C to +40 °C.
