A DVR for up to four coax cameras.
These 4-channel DVRs suit a house, a small shop or a single retail unit. All four are AcuSense models: the people and vehicle detection runs in the recorder, not the camera, so your existing analogue cameras gain it without being replaced.
Which of the four should I pick?
- HQHI: the entry model, recording up to 3K / 5MP Lite. Right for 1080p and 4MP cameras.
- HUHI: full 5MP, double the smart detection capacity, and accepts 8MP cameras (but full 8MP recording is on channel 1 only).
- HTHI: true 8MP on every channel, with a 16 Mbps bitrate limit to match.
- /PXT: the PoC (power over coax) version. It powers the cameras down the same coax, so each needs just one cable.
- Hard drives are sold separately. See our surveillance hard drives.
Our Hikvision DVR buying guide explains the tiers in full, including the 8MP channel trap.
