Three things separate these recorders
- Resolution tier — HQHI records up to 3K / 5MP Lite; HUHI handles full 5MP; HTHI records true 8MP on every channel.
- Drive bays — one bay caps your retention, two roughly doubles it. Eight cameras at 5MP fill a disk faster than most people expect.
- Fitted options — audio inputs and alarm I/O are factory options on this size and cannot be added later. If the system needs to trigger from an alarm panel, order the version with them.
