A device with a USB-A port (PC, Mac, or a compatible Cisco IP phone or Webex device), or a 3.5 mm headset socket. For Cisco IP phone compatibility and firmware, Cisco refers to its Headset Compatibility Guide; call us if you are unsure about your phone. A USB-C version is sold under part number CP-HS-W-521-USBC.

Yes. Cisco lists CP-HS-W-521-USB= as the Headset 521 with a 3.5 mm connector and a USB-A adapter.

Can I plug it into a mobile phone?

Yes. The 3.5 mm connector works with standard 3.5 mm jacks on laptops, tablets and mobile phones. LED and call-control features need the USB adapter.

Is it one ear or two?

The 521 has a single earpiece. Cisco sells the dual-earpiece version as the Headset 522.

How long is the cable?

Cisco lists about 2.67 m overall from the headset to the USB plug, including the controller.
