Dahua DH-XVR5108C-X - 8 Channel 1080P CCTV DVR

Dahua DH-XVR5108C-X — 8 Channel 1080P CCTV DVR

The Dahua DH-XVR5108C-X is an 8 channel Penta-brid 1080P CCTV DVR in a Smart 1U case, from Dahua's Lite Series. Penta-brid means one recorder takes HDCVI, AHD, TVI, CVBS and IP camera inputs, so one recorder can take a mix of camera types. It records with H.265+/H.265 dual-stream video compression, supports up to 5MP HDCVI cameras and up to 6MP IP cameras, and adds Smart Search and Intelligent Video System functions.

Also listed as XVR5108C-X.

Key features

• H.265+/H.265 dual-stream video compression. Dahua says Smart H.265+ can reduce bit rate and storage requirements by up to 90% compared with H.264, without new cameras.
• HDCVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS signals are detected automatically, with no setting needed, and IP cameras can be added too.
• 8 BNC analogue channels plus IP camera inputs of 8+4 channels, each up to 6MP, with a maximum of 48Mbps incoming bandwidth.
• Long distance transmission: Dahua states the HDCVI system supports up to 800 m for 1080P and 1200 m for 720P over coaxial cable and UTP.
• Intelligent Video System (IVS) with tripwire and abandoned or missing object detection as listed by Dahua, plus face detection and Smart Search for finding motion in a drawn region.
• Smart fan design: the fan turns on or off with CPU temperature to reduce noise.
• 1 HDMI and 1 VGA output, up to 1920 × 1080.
