The Fike 505-0008-B is the black version of the 8-zone TwinflexPro2 control panel, Fike's intelligent two-wire fire alarm system. It is the same 8-zone panel as the standard 505-0008, finished in black for sites where a dark panel suits the interior better than white.

Each zone runs on a single pair of wires that carries detection and alarm devices together. Multipoint ASD detectors (with or without built-in sounder and strobe), standalone sounders, sounder beacons and manual call points all connect to the same circuit, which cuts cable runs and installation time compared with a conventional layout. The panel shows whether an alarm came from a smoke detector, a heat detector or a call point, and reports faults separately for each zone, including detector head removal and open or short circuit faults.

Checkpoint alarm confirmation lets each zone be set as a dwelling or a communal area. A dwelling zone can run a local pre-alarm of 1 to 5 minutes, sounding only in that dwelling while the cause is checked, while a communal zone goes straight to full alarm. Up to 8 TwinflexPro2 repeater panels can be linked over RS485, and with Fike's conventional zone card fitted, zones 5 to 8 can accept conventional devices.
