Hikvision DS-K1F600U-D6E-F — desktop enrolment station for faces, fingerprints and cards

The DS-K1F600U-D6E-F takes enrolment away from the door. HR or security sit the new starter in front of it: the camera captures a face template under controlled lighting, the sensor takes their fingerprints (up to ten each), and their card is read — all pushed to HikCentral over USB-C in one record, then distributed to face terminals such as the DS-K1T673DWX-PROE1 and DS-K1T680D-E1. It works offline too, holding 2000 enrolment records until it is reconnected. The card-only DS-K1F100-D8E is the budget alternative; the DS-K5033MW handles visitors.

Biometrics

Two lenses feed a 2 MP camera with WDR and face anti-spoofing; face enrolment distance is 0.3 to 1.5 m. Fingerprint capacity is 20,000 templates at 10 fingerprints per person. Audio prompts and time synchronisation are supported.

Cards and capacity

EM, M1, DESFire and Felica cards at 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz with a 0 to 5 cm read distance. Local capacity is 2000 users, 2000 faces, 20,000 cards and 2000 offline enrolment records (the datasheet notes the displayed card capacity varies with the enrolment rules configured).

Connection and power

A USB port and a USB Type-C port — the Type-C is used for communication with the platform — plus Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and TCP/IP. 3.97" capacitive touch screen at 800 × 480 on Linux. 12 VDC 15 W via a round connector; base mounting at 121.6 × 137.9 × 125 mm; indoor, -10 °C to 50 °C.
