Hikvision DS-K4H250D — double-door 2 × 272 kg magnetic lock with status output

The DS-K4H250D is the maglock we fit with Hikvision controllers and terminals. It carries two 272 kg lock bodies in one 480 mm housing so a pair of doors is held by a single unit wired once. Being fail-safe, it releases on power loss — the right behaviour on an escape route with a break-glass beside it — and its dry-contact output tells the DS-K2702X or a terminal such as the DS-K1T342MWX-E1 whether the armature is actually held, not just whether power is applied. The DS-K4H250-LZ L/Z bracket set fits it to inward-opening doors; the DS-K4H250S is the single-door version.

Holding force and doors

Each of the two lock bodies gives 272 kg (599.8 lb) of linear thrust — 2 × 272 kg across the pair. The datasheet lists single-leaf and double-leaf doors in wood, glass, metal and fireproof construction. The lock body measures 480 × 49 × 25.5 mm and the armature plate 180 × 38 × 11 mm.

Electrical and monitoring

Dual voltage: 12 VDC at 500 mA or 24 VDC at 250 mA, as published by Hikvision for the double unit — size the supply with headroom. A dry-contact signal output rated to 3 A gives NO while locked and NC while unlocked, and the LED shows green for locked and red for unlocked — wire the contact to the controller's door-status input for true door monitoring.

Construction

Hard-anodised, electroplated shell with an eco-friendly electroplated zinc lock body and armature plate. Operating range -10 °C to 55 °C, 0 to 95% relative humidity.
