Hikvision DS-K1T342MWX-E1 — MinMoe face terminal with PoE and lock power output

The DS-K1T342MWX-E1 is the PoE generation of Hikvision's compact MinMoe face terminal. Beyond the recognition figures — 1500 faces, under 0.2 s, more than 99% accuracy — its practical advantage is power: run one PoE cable to the door and the terminal will also feed the lock at 12 VDC 1 A, so there is no local PSU. It replaces the retired DS-K1T341CMW; the DS-K1T344MBFWX-E1 adds fingerprint and doubles the capacities, and the DS-K1T673DWX moves to a 7" screen.

Hikvision access-control terminals work standalone (users, cards and faces enrolled on the device, door relay on board) or as part of a system managed by iVMS-4200, HikCentral or Hik-Connect / Hik-ProConnect. Readers and controllers connect over RS-485 or Wiegand as each datasheet lists. Recognition and capacity

A dual-lens 2 MP camera performs face recognition at 0.3 to 1.5 m in under 0.2 s with a quoted accuracy above 99% and anti-spoofing against photos. Local memory holds 1500 faces, 3000 M1 cards (13.56 MHz) and 150,000 events. Audio prompts and time synchronisation are supported. The 4.3" LCD touch screen (272 × 480) handles enrolment and feedback.

Power and door

Power input is the supplied 12 VDC 1 A adapter or PoE 802.3at (37–57 VDC, 0.6 A). When powered by PoE the terminal provides a 12 VDC 1 A output for the door lock — the datasheet notes this applies only when the PoE source supports lock power supply through the device. One lock output, one exit-button input, one door-contact input and a tamper switch are on board, with RS-485 and Wiegand for external controllers or readers and a USB port.

Network, rating and size

10/100 Mbps RJ45 and Wi-Fi. IP65 with a -30 °C to 60 °C range and 0–90% humidity; wall mounting at 91.3 × 181.3 × 24.5 mm. Linux platform; PAL/NTSC video standard.
