Hikvision DS-K1T341CMW — MinMoe face-recognition access terminal, 4.3"

The DS-K1T341CMW is one of Hikvision's MinMoe Value-series face terminals — the compact 4.3" units that put face recognition on an office, gym or warehouse door at a sensible price. It authenticates by face or M1 card, opens the door from its own relay, and reports to iVMS-4200 or Hik-Connect over Ethernet or Wi-Fi. Hikvision quotes a face-recognition distance of over 2 m. Hikvision access-control terminals work standalone (users, cards and faces enrolled on the device, door relay on board) or as part of a system managed by iVMS-4200, HikCentral or Hik-Connect / Hik-ProConnect. Recognition

Two lenses — one visible, one for anti-spoofing — feed a 2 MP camera (720p stream) with a 41.5° horizontal, 75.5° vertical, 87° diagonal field of view. Face anti-spoofing rejects photographs, QR codes can be presented to the camera, and M1 cards are read on the built-in reader. Hik-Connect is supported for cloud management.

Door control

The datasheet lists a built-in access controller: one lock relay, an exit-button input, a door-contact input and a tamper switch, so a single door needs nothing else at the controller end. RS-485 (Hikvision protocol) and Wiegand (Hik 26/34 bit) connect it to an external controller or reader instead where a system already exists; a USB port handles local import and export.

Network, power and rating

One RJ45 at 10/100 Mbps and Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n. Power 12–24 VDC at 2 A, consumption ≤ 10 W. IP65 with a -30 °C to 60 °C range for a sheltered external door. A DS-KAB34X-S1 protective shield is available.

What is the difference between the DS-K1T341CMW and DS-K1T341CMFW?

The screen: the CMFW has a 4.3" IPS panel; the CMW has the standard 4.3" panel and Hikvision quotes a face-recognition distance of over 2 m for it. Camera, reader, interfaces and rating otherwise match.

Does it work without a separate controller?
