The DS-KAB34X-S1 is the protective shield Hikvision publishes for its DS-K1T341CMW / DS-K1T341CMFW / DS-K1T342MWX-E1 terminals. Face terminals are IP65 rated, but a hood still earns its place outdoors: it keeps rain off the touch screen so it stays usable, shades the camera from low sun that would otherwise wash out recognition, and takes the first knock from a trolley or bag. It is made from polycarbonate (PC) and measures 99.4 × 55 × 199.3 mm.
