Hikvision DS-KD9203-ME6 — face-recognition video intercom door station

The DS-KD9203-ME6 puts face recognition at the front door of a block or a premium house. Residents walk up and the door opens; there is no card to lose and no code to share. Visitors use the 4.3" screen and buttons to call a flat in the usual way, and the 2 MP camera streams to the indoor stations and Hik-Connect. The flush-mount faceplate — 373 mm wide, 124 mm tall — is designed to sit in the wall beside the entrance. This is part of Hikvision's IP video intercom range: door stations, indoor stations and accessories that connect over a standard network (PoE or 12 VDC) and are configured with the iVMS-4200 client or the Hik-Connect app. IP-series products are designed to be used together within that range. Recognition and capacity

The datasheet gives 5000 faces, 50,000 cards and 10,000 users in local memory, so a large development can be enrolled entirely on the station. Two RS-485 ports (half duplex, Hikvision protocol) are available for peripherals. The 4 GB ROM / 1 GB RAM Linux platform handles matching on the device.

Camera and screen

A 2 MP HD camera streams 1080p at 30 fps (main) with VGA sub streams, across a 107° horizontal, 58° vertical, 126° diagonal field of view; digital WDR is rated 120 dB and IR supplement reaches 3 m. The 4.3" colour LCD (800 × 480) guides the visitor. Audio is a built-in omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker with codecs from G.711 to Opus and AAC at 64 Kbps, with noise suppression and echo cancellation.

Door control, network and rating

Two lock relays rated 30 VDC 2 A, one exit-button input, one door-contact input, four alarm inputs and a tamper switch. Gigabit RJ45 with TCP/IP, RTSP, IPv6 and ONVIF. Power 12 VDC 1.5 A at ≤ 13 W. Flush mounting, 373 × 124 × 43.7 mm, IP65, -30 °C to 60 °C, 10% to 90% humidity.
