The Mercusys MP300P KIT is an AV600 passthrough powerline starter kit: two HomePlug AV2 adapters that carry your network at up to 600 Mbps over existing mains wiring, each with one Ethernet port and an extra power socket so you do not lose the outlet. Pair button 128-bit AES encryption and automatic power saving are built in.
What the MP300P KIT is for
Use it to get a wired connection to a PC, IPTV box, console or smart TV in another room without new cable, while still powering the TV or a lamp from the adapter's own socket.
The Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps, which suits browsing, streaming and CCTV. For gigabit ports, look at the MP500 KIT; browse more in data networking.

How fast is the Mercusys MP300P KIT?
Up to 600 Mbps physical powerline rate; the Ethernet port is 10/100 Mbps, so a wired device connects at up to 100 Mbps. Real throughput depends on wiring.
Does the MP300P have a pass-through socket?
Yes, each adapter has an extra power socket so you can still plug in another device.
Will it work with my other powerline adapters?
Mercusys state it is compatible with HomePlug AV and AV2 adapters, including the MP500 and TP-Link kits like the TL-PA4010P KIT.
Is it compatible with my router?
Mercusys note that routers with altered, open-source, non-standard or outdated firmware may not be compatible; standard routers work.
Does it save power?
Yes. It drops into standby after more than five minutes with no connected device, which Mercusys say saves up to 85% in lab tests.
How quickly can I get it?
