The Ruijie Mini-GBIC-GT is a 1000BASE-T SFP copper module with an RJ45 connector. It converts 1000base-X to 1000base-T and reaches 100 m over Cat 5e/6/6a cable.

What the Mini-GBIC-GT is for

Ruijie position this module for data centre and campus networks, linking switches, routers, servers and network interface controllers. It suits a device with an SFP port where the equipment you need to connect uses ordinary RJ45 copper cabling rather than fibre.

What you will need

You need a port on your network switch or router that accepts a 1G SFP module, and Cat 5e, Cat 6 or Cat 6a network cable terminated with RJ45 to the device at the other end. This is a 1G module, so do not plan on it running at 10G.
