The Ruijie Reyee RG-EW300T is a wireless 4G LTE router. Insert a SIM card, switch it on, and it connects to the mobile network, with Ruijie quoting up to 150 Mbps download speed over 4G LTE.

What the RG-EW300T is for

Ruijie position the RG-EW300T for getting online without a cable, using a SIM card and data plan to reach nearby mobile signal towers. It is described as plug and play, with no configuration needed once the SIM is in and the router is switched on. It is one of the Ruijie Reyee range.

Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11n) on the 2.4 GHz band, at up to 300 Mbps, and Ruijie recommend around 8 concurrent clients. It has four external omnidirectional antennas, rated 4 dBi for Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz and 3 dBi for 4G LTE. That suits a small number of devices rather than a busy site.

There are four 10/100 Mbps Ethernet ports: three LAN ports and one LAN/WAN port. Because the wired ports are 10/100 only, wired throughput is limited to 100 Mbps. The LAN/WAN port lets it work as a regular router behind a cable, fibre or DSL modem. Ruijie Cloud management is listed as supported.

You need a SIM card with a mobile data plan from your provider. Ruijie list these bands: WCDMA B1/B5/B8, LTE-FDD B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28 and LTE-TDD B38/B40/B41, so check your provider's network uses some of them. Tell us your provider and we will check.
