The RG-WS6512-L is a 1U wireless access controller for medium to large networks. It has 8 GE combo ports and four 10GE SFP+ ports, and manages 128 access points by default.
What the RG-WS6512-L is for
Ruijie position the RG-WS6512-L for medium to large networks such as government, education, healthcare and enterprise sites. Ruijie's figures are 128 access points by default, up to 1,152 licences, and up to 32,768 clients subject to the network environment, with 802.11 forwarding capacity of 40 Gbps subject to the wireless network environment.
It supports 1+1 and N+1 hot standby and AC failover. Management platforms listed are Eweb and Ruijie Cloud, with SNMP, SSH and console access. The 8 combo ports each share their slot with an RJ45 port, so they are not additional ports.

What you will need
One 70 W AC power module is delivered with the unit, and a second can be bought for redundancy. You need compatible Ruijie access points; the number the controller can manage depends on the AP model. Add licences if you need more than the 128 default, and SFP+ modules if you will use the 10GE ports. See also our access controllers.

128 by default, with up to 1,152 licences available. Ruijie say the number depends on the AP model, since a wall plate AP occupies half a licence.
Does the RG-WS6512-L include a power supply?
One RG-PA70I 70 W AC power module is delivered with the unit. A second can be added for redundancy.
