The TP-Link Omada Fusion G+ is a gateway and Omada controller in one: a 2.5G RJ45 WAN port, four gigabit RJ45 LAN/WAN ports, a 2.51-inch colour touchscreen and Bluetooth setup, with the Omada Network Application built in. TP-Link quote IPS throughput of 2,183 Mbps and IPsec VPN of 1,023 Mbps.

What the Fusion G+ is for

Omada Fusion gateways have Omada OS and the Omada Network Application built in, so the gateway itself manages your Omada switches and access points (TP-Link recommend up to 30 devices and 300 clients) without a separate controller, with cloud access through the Omada app. That makes it a neat single box for small offices, shops and clinics running Omada access points and switches.

Up to four WAN ports give load balancing and link backup. VPN includes Omada LightLink, IPsec, WireGuard, OpenVPN, L2TP, PPTP and SSL, plus Full Mesh SD-WAN between sites.

What you will need

Network cable, your broadband modem or ONT on the 2.5G WAN port, and Omada switches and access points. For wall mounting add the MagMount-115mm plate.

No. It has the Omada Network Application built in and TP-Link recommend it for up to 30 Omada devices and 300 clients.

How many WAN ports does the Fusion G+ have?

One 2.5G WAN port plus four gigabit LAN/WAN ports, with up to four WAN ports in use at once for load balancing or backup.

What VPN throughput does the Fusion G+ give?

TP-Link quote IPsec 1,023 Mbps, L2TP 892 Mbps, WireGuard 605 Mbps, LightLink 527 Mbps, SSL 250 Mbps, OpenVPN 223 Mbps and PPTP 193 Mbps.

Does the Fusion G+ have Wi-Fi?

No. Add Omada access points, which the Fusion G+ manages.

Fusion G+ or Fusion 2.5G?

The Fusion 2.5G has 2.5G on all five ports. The Fusion 2.5G PoE adds eight 2.5G PoE+ ports with a 110 W budget.

How quickly can I get it?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter. Call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
