TP-LINK OMADA - SM5110-SR - 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceiver, Multi-Mode, 300 m

SM5110-SR — 10GBase-SR SFP+ LC Transceiver, Multi-Mode, 300 m

The TP-Link Omada SM5110-SR is a 10GBase-SR SFP+ transceiver for multi-mode fibre, 850 nm, LC/UPC, up to 300 m over OM3. It plugs into an SFP+ slot on a switch, router or media converter to add a fibre link.

What the SM5110-SR is for

An SFP+ module like the SM5110-SR lets you choose the link type per port on an Omada network switch. Typical jobs are linking a switch in an outbuilding, a second floor or a CCTV cabinet back to the core switch, where a copper run would be too long.

TP-Link list DDM, hot-swap support and SFP-MSA compliance for the SM5110-SR, so it can be fitted or replaced without powering the switch down. Both ends of a link must use matching module types and the right cable.

Key features

• 10 Gbps 10GBase-SR SFP+ transceiver, IEEE 802.3ae
• 850 nm over multi-mode fibre
• Up to 300 m over OM3
• LC/UPC connector
• DDM, SFP-MSA compliant and hot-swappable
