The TP-Link TG-3468 is a gigabit PCI Express network adapter for desktop PCs and servers. It fits a PCI Express slot and adds one RJ45 port at up to 1 Gbps.

It is for a desktop PC, NAS host or server that needs a gigabit wired connection, either because it has no Ethernet port, the onboard port has failed, or you want a faster or second port.
