The TP-Link TL-WA801N is a 300 Mbps Wireless N access point. It adds 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi to a wired network through two fixed omni-directional antennas, and its 10/100 Mbps port supports passive PoE, with a PoE injector in the box for runs up to 30 m.

What the TL-WA801N is for

Cable it to your router or switch to create a Wi-Fi network in an office, outbuilding or room the router cannot reach. Passive PoE lets you place it away from a socket.
