What you will need

Supply IEEE 802.3af PoE or 12 V DC (±25%, Ø5.5 mm coaxial plug); the maximum draw is 8.5 W. A recorder with built-in PoE ports can power it directly, or use a PoE switch with an 802.3af port free. Connect over 10/100 M Ethernet using network cable. To keep footage, add an NVR and surveillance hard drives, or use a microSD card of your own (up to 512 GB).
