The Uniview IPC6215SR-X5PAEW-VG is a 5MP mini PTZ dome camera that pans, tilts and zooms 5X from one unit. It has a 30 m infrared illuminator, two-way audio and Wi-Fi as well as a wired network port.

Where a fixed camera would leave gaps, the IPC6215SR-X5PAEW-VG can be pointed and zoomed on demand. The lens runs from 2.7 to 13.5 mm (5X optical zoom), giving a horizontal field of view of 104.9° to 30.6°. It pans 350° and tilts 0° to 90°, and stores 1024 presets.

For low light it has a 1/2.7" CMOS sensor, a colour minimum illumination of 0.003 lux (F1.2, AGC on), 120 dB WDR and 850 nm IR reaching 30 m. Smart intrusion detection covers cross line, intrusion, enter area and leave area, with filtering by human, non-motor vehicle and vehicle.

The working range is -10°C to 50°C and Uniview lists no IP rating for this model, so it is suited to sheltered or indoor positions unless you confirm the location is protected.

What you will need

Power it from a PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at) port, for example a PoE switch or an NVR PoE port that supplies enough power, or from a 12 V DC supply (Ø5.5 mm plug, 18 W consumption). It also supports Wi-Fi on 2.4 GHz. Use good network cable and a compatible NVR or software client, and add a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB) if you want recording on the camera itself.
