Dahua HAC-HFW1400D
The Dahua HAC-HFW1400D is a 4MP 2K HDCVI infrared (IR) bullet CCTV camera from Dahua's Lite series, with a 3.6mm fixed lens, up to 80m of IR night vision and IP67 protection. It sends its picture over coaxial cable, so as an HD analogue CCTV camera it can upgrade an analogue system without replacing the existing cabling when it is paired with a recorder that supports HDCVI. Supplied by Zenith Security Co.

Common questions
What does HDCVI mean?
HDCVI sends HD video, data and power over standard coaxial cable. See our guide to Dahua HDCVI cameras.
Does it need a special recorder?
The camera outputs CVI, TVI, AHD or CVBS from one BNC port, selected through the OSD menu, which Dahua says makes it compatible with most existing HD/SD DVRs.
How far can the cable run?
Dahua states up to 700m for 4MP video over coaxial cable and up to 300m over UTP cable, verified by real-scene testing in its test laboratory.
How is it powered?
From a 12V DC supply (±30%). Maximum power consumption is 4.9W with IR on.
How far does the IR reach?
The fill light working distance is 80m, with Smart IR adjusting the LED intensity to the distance of the object.
Is it weatherproof?
Yes. As an outdoor bullet CCTV camera it is IP67 rated and works from -40 °C to +60 °C, so it can be used indoors or outdoors.
Is there a 4MP model with true WDR?
This Lite model uses DWDR (digital WDR). The HAC-HFW2401E is a 4MP HDCVI IR bullet with 120dB true WDR.
