Hikvision DS-K1107AM — Mifare card reader for K27 controllers, IP65

The DS-K1107AM is the everyday reader for a Hikvision access-control system. It reads 13.56 MHz Mifare credentials — cards or DS-K7M102-M fobs — and passes them to the controller over RS-485 or Wiegand, chosen with a DIP switch, so it works on the DS-K2702X and DS-K2M002X as well as on the DS-K2210 lift controller or any third-party panel with Wiegand input. The DS-K1107AMK adds a 12-key PIN pad. At 115 × 44 mm it fits a door mullion; IP65 covers a sheltered outdoor door, and for fully exposed positions or EM fobs the IP66 DS-K1105EMB is the alternative.

Hikvision readers connect to an access controller over RS-485 or Wiegand; the controller holds the credentials and drives the lock. They pair with the DS-K27 controllers and DS-K2M002X modules listed on this site, and with third-party controllers that accept Wiegand 26/34. Reading and output

13.56 MHz with a read distance of up to 50 mm. Output is RS-485 or Wiegand, selected by DIP switch; a tamper switch reports removal and a buzzer confirms reads.

Rating and fitting

IP65, -20 °C to 65 °C, 10–90% humidity non-condensing. 12 VDC at 2 W or less. Wall mounting with screws at 115 × 44 × 22 mm — the datasheet notes it does not fit a gang box.
