Hikvision DS-KM9503 — 10.1" Android video intercom main station for the front desk

The DS-KM9503 is the management console in Hikvision's Ultra intercom range. Where indoor stations serve one flat each, the main station serves the building: it receives visitor calls from every door station, calls any resident, opens doors and views up to 128 cameras, and it does this on a 10.1" IPS touch screen with a gooseneck microphone for a desk environment. It scales to 10,000 linked intercom devices, so one console can cover a large estate. Pair it with DS-KD9633-WBE6 face-recognition door stations at the entrances and the DS-KP9301-HE1 SIP phone for secondary desks.

This is part of Hikvision's IP video intercom range: door stations, indoor stations and accessories that connect over a standard network (PoE or 12 VDC) and are configured with the iVMS-4200 client or the Hik-Connect app. IP-series products are designed to be used together within that range. Console

A 10.1" IPS capacitive touch screen at 1280 × 800 running Android 7.1 on 8 GB ROM and 2 GB RAM, with three touch buttons and three indicators. The 2 MP camera (64.1° horizontal, 48.1° vertical, 80.2° diagonal) puts the concierge on video for residents and visitors.

Audio for a desk

Besides the built-in omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker, the station has 3.5 mm inputs for an external gooseneck microphone, external speaker or voice box, and an earphone — so calls can be private or broadcast as the desk requires. Codecs G.711 U/A, Opus, AAC-LD/LC, G.726 and G.722.1 at 64 Kbps, with noise suppression and echo cancellation.

System capacity and connections

10,000 linked intercom devices and 128 linked network cameras over TCP/IP, SIP and RTSP. Two network interfaces (LAN1 accepts standard PoE), three USB ports, a TF card slot to 128 GB, one RS-485 port and two relays and two alarm inputs (reserved). 12 VDC or PoE at ≤ 12 W.
