The RG-EW300R is a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n) extender from Ruijie Reyee. It has two external omnidirectional antennas, a three-bar signal indicator, and connects to your router by WPS.

What the RG-EW300R is for

The RG-EW300R is for extending an existing 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network at up to 300 Mbps. Ruijie describe it as plug and play, with two built-in signal amplifiers and a three-bar signal indicator that shows signal strength so you can find a good spot for it.

To connect, press the WPS button on your router and on the extender within 2 minutes. It offers two modes: AP mode, which Ruijie describe as more stable and reliable, and repeater mode, which they describe as more flexible.

It is a single-band extender, so there is no 5 GHz band, and Ruijie recommend 8 concurrent clients. The specification lists Reyee Mesh 3.0 as not supported.
