What you will need

A broadband modem, ONT or ISP router with an Ethernet port, a smartphone for the Deco app and a power socket. To get more than 1 Gbps through the wired ports you will need multi-gigabit equipment and cabling.

What are the 5 Gbps ports for?

Each unit has two 5 Gbps and one 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN auto-sensing ports, for a multi-gigabit internet line, wired backhaul or fast wired devices.

Can I replace my ISP router with it?

Often yes: it supports Dynamic IP, Static IP, PPPoE, PPTP and L2TP, with VLAN tagging. Otherwise run it in Access Point mode behind the ISP router.

Does it work with other Decos?

Yes. TP-Link state that all Decos work together, with optional Ethernet backhaul between units.

How quickly can I get it?
