The TP-Link Omada EAP211-Bridge KIT is a pre-configured 5 GHz wireless bridge kit for links of up to 1 km (0.62 mi) at up to 867 Mbps. Each unit has three gigabit Ethernet ports, an IP65 enclosure and is powered by 12 V DC or 24 V passive PoE (adapter included).

What you will need

Clear line of sight between the two ends, a pole position at each end, outdoor-rated network cable, and a power source. A 24 V passive PoE adapter is included.

How far does the EAP211-Bridge KIT reach?

TP-Link quote a transmission distance of 1,000 m (0.62 mi) with line of sight.

Can a standard PoE switch power the EAP211-Bridge?

TP-Link list 12 V DC and 24 V passive PoE only, so use the passive PoE adapter supplied rather than an 802.3af/at switch port. Max draw is 11.5 W.

Does the EAP211-Bridge KIT need an Omada controller?

No. It works standalone (web or Omada app), and can be centrally managed by an Omada controller such as the OC200 or OC300, or Omada Central.

Can I use the EAP211-Bridge KIT to connect CCTV cameras in another building?

Yes, that is a common use: bridge the network to an outbuilding, gatehouse or car park and connect IP cameras there. Cameras at the far end still need a PoE switch or injector.

EAP211-Bridge KIT or EAP215-Bridge KIT?

We ship nationally from our multi-million pound warehouse, with orders leaving daily. Orders placed before 2:30pm are normally dispatched for delivery within 1–2 working days to England, Scotland and Wales. You can also collect in store from our trade counter — call first so we can confirm your order is ready. We do not ship to Northern Ireland.
