What you will need

A light fitting that takes a B22 bayonet bulb, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and the free Tapo app. Leave the wall switch on so the bulb stays powered.

No. It connects to your 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network directly and is set up in the Tapo app.
