This is a 2-pack of the TP-Link Tapo P100. The TP-Link Tapo P100 plugs into a UK socket and switches whatever is plugged into it, up to 13 A and 2990 W, from the Tapo app or by voice. It joins 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (Bluetooth 4.2 is used for setup only), so there is no hub, and its compact size leaves the neighbouring socket free.

What the Tapo P100 is for

Use it for lamps, fans, chargers, kettles and other small appliances you want on a schedule, a countdown timer or switched from anywhere. What you will need

A UK 13 A wall socket, a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and the free Tapo app on Android 4.4 or iOS 9.0 or later. It is for indoor use only.

What can I plug into the Tapo P100?

Appliances up to 13 A and 2990 W. TP-Link advise against motors or compressors over 1/6 HP, such as air conditioners, and it does not support EV charging.

Does it need a hub?

No, it connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi directly; Bluetooth is only used during setup.

Does the P100 monitor energy use?

No. For energy monitoring, see the Tapo P110 or P110M.

Will it block the next socket?

TP-Link design it as a mini plug to leave the adjacent socket free.

Can I use it outside?

No. TP-Link state it is for indoor use only.
