Use a PoE port (IEEE 802.3af supplies up to 15.4 W per port; the camera draws a maximum of 4.2 W) or a 12 V DC supply. A recorder's built-in PoE ports need no separate switch; otherwise add a PoE switch. You will also need an NVR, surveillance hard drives and network cable, unless you record to a MicroSD card (up to 512 GB, not supplied).
