What you will need

Power it from a PoE port (IEEE 802.3af supplies up to 15.4 W per port; the camera draws a maximum of 11.0 W) or a 12 V DC supply. A recorder with built-in PoE ports needs no separate switch; otherwise use a PoE switch. Add an NVR with surveillance hard drives and network cable, or use a MicroSD card up to 512 GB (not supplied).
