The NSW2020-10T-POE-IN is a Uniview Ethernet PoE switch with ten 100 Mbps RJ45 ports, eight of which supply PoE. It is powered by a DC 48/51 V adapter and has no cooling fan.

What the NSW2020-10T-POE-IN is for

This switch can power up to eight PoE devices such as IP cameras and connect them to a recorder or network. PoE follows IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, up to 30 W on a single port and 88 W in total. The other two ports are ordinary data ports and do not power devices.

Switching capacity is 2 Gbps and forwarding performance is 1.49 Mpps. In EXTEND (surveillance) mode the switch lists a transmission distance of up to 250 metres; in its default mode all ports communicate with each other. Uniview's specification also lists NDAA compliance as supported.

What you will need

You need an IP camera or other PoE device for each PoE port, and network cable to reach them. The switch runs from a DC 48/51 V adapter on 100 to 240 V mains, per the Power Supply row. Connect it to a recorder or network over one of its 100 Mbps ports. Check the total power draw of your cameras against the 88 W total and 30 W per-port limits.
