The NVR502-16B-P16-IQ records up to sixteen IP cameras and powers them from 16 built-in PoE ports, so compatible PoE cameras connect straight to the recorder. It can also run SIP, UMD and face detection on the recorder itself.

Choose the NVR502-16B-P16-IQ for a sixteen-camera IP system that is powered and recorded from one unit. Each PoE port supplies up to 30 W (IEEE 802.3at and 802.3af) and the total budget is 240 W, so add up the cameras' draw against that figure. The PoE ports are 10 M/100 M.
With ordinary cameras it can analyse up to 4 channels for SIP (4 x 2MP, 2 x 4MP or 1 x 4K) and up to 8 for UMD (8 x 2MP, 4 x 4MP or 2 x 4K); only one analyser mode is active at a time. Incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps with Smart Off and 160 Mbps with Smart On.

What you will need
Add surveillance hard drives surveillance hard drives; none are listed as supplied and there are 2 SATA bays taking up to 24 TB each. Connect PoE cameras with network cable to the 16 PoE ports and power the recorder from AC 100 to 240 V. A PoE switch is only needed if a camera exceeds 30 W or the cameras total more than 240 W. A monitor connects by HDMI or VGA.
