The Uniview NVR504-16B-P16-IQ is a network video recorder with 16 PoE ports built in, so PoE cameras can plug straight into the recorder. It records up to 16 channels to as many as four SATA hard drives.
What the NVR504-16B-P16-IQ is for
The NVR504-16B-P16-IQ suits a 16-camera IP system where you want the recorder to power the cameras itself. The 16 PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, giving up to 30 W on a single port and 150 W in total, so the total draw of all connected cameras needs to stay within 150 W. A PoE camera on these ports needs no separate switch.
It also carries Uniview smart functions such as face detection, Smart Intrusion Prevention (SIP) and Ultra Motion Detection (UMD) run by the NVR itself, plus AcuSearch and AcuTrack search on channels with compatible Uniview SIP/UMD cameras. Only one analyser mode can be active at a time, and incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps with smart off and 160 Mbps with smart on.

What you will need
Add surveillance hard drives: there are 4 SATA bays taking up to 24 TB per drive, and drives are not listed as supplied. See surveillance hard drives. Connect PoE cameras with network cable to the built-in ports; the power supply is listed as AC 100~240V. Non-PoE IP cameras would need their own power or a PoE switch on the network.
