The NVR504-32B-P16-IQ is a 32-channel network video recorder in Uniview's NVR504 IQ series, with 16 built-in PoE ports and four SATA bays. It suits systems where up to 16 PoE cameras plug straight into the recorder.
What the NVR504-32B-P16-IQ is for
Sixteen 10M/100M PoE ports support IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at, with up to 30 W on a single port and 150 W in total. Cameras on those ports need no separate switch, but the 150 W total is shared, so add up the draw of your cameras. The recorder accepts 32 IP channels, so cameras beyond the first 16 need a PoE switch or their own power.
Recording is to up to four SATA hard drives, each up to 24 TB, with RAID 1 and 5 supported. Incoming bandwidth is 320 Mbps with smart functions off and 160 Mbps with them on; outgoing bandwidth is 160 Mbps. The HDMI output supports 4K (3840 × 2160) at 30 Hz.

What you will need
Hard drives are not listed as included, so add surveillance hard drives; up to four fit, each up to 24 TB. Cameras connect by network cable to the built-in PoE ports; see our network cable and IP cameras. Beyond 16 cameras you need a PoE switch. Match the cameras' total bandwidth to the recorder's incoming figure. The recorder runs from AC 100 to 240 V.
