Dome cameras enclose the lens in a tamper-resistant bubble, so it is hard to tell where the camera is pointing and hard to knock off aim — the right choice for shop floors, communal hallways, stairwells, offices and covered entrances where a camera may be within reach. These are HD analogue (HD-TVI) domes that record over standard coaxial cable to a DVR, so they upgrade an existing analogue system without new network cabling. Zenith Security Co stocks Hikvision Turbo HD dome cameras at trade prices, with delivery from our multi-million pound warehouse.

Choosing an HD dome camera

• Resolution — 2MP to 8MP over coax; match the camera to your DVR tier so it is not downscaled.
• Vandal resistance — impact-rated (IK10) housings suit car parks and exposed public areas.
• Night vision — EXIR infrared for black-and-white at night, or ColorVu for full colour.
• Lens — fixed for a set view, or motorised varifocal to adjust zoom on site.

Prefer a network system? See our IP dome cameras, or the full coax range under HD analogue cameras.
