Hikvision DS-KB8113-IME1 — vandal-resistant IP video intercom doorbell
The DS-KB8113-IME1 is the toughened doorbell in Hikvision's IP intercom range — the successor to the DS-KB8112-IM on the site. It is a single-button unit: no keypad, no card reader, just a camera, microphone, speaker and a button in a housing rated IK09 against impact and IP65 against weather. That makes it the right choice for a side gate, a plant room, a school entrance or anywhere a door station gets knocked. It pairs with any indoor station in the IP range — the DS-KH6110-WE1 keeps the whole system compact.
This is part of Hikvision's IP video intercom range: door stations, indoor stations and accessories that connect over a standard network (PoE or 12 VDC) and are configured with the iVMS-4200 client or the Hik-Connect app. IP-series products are designed to be used together within that range. Built to be hit
IK09 is one of the highest impact ratings in the IEC 62262 scale; combined with IP65 sealing and a -30 °C to +50 °C operating range it suits exposed and unsupervised positions. The unit is surface mounted and measures 161.85 × 74.13 × 53.2 mm.
Video and audio
H.264 video streams to the indoor station and app over TCP/IP and RTSP. The built-in omnidirectional microphone and loudspeaker run at 64 Kbps with noise suppression and echo cancellation for clear conversation at the door.
One cable
Standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af, 12 VDC) on the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port powers the doorbell and carries the call, so there is no local PSU to protect. One alarm input and a debugging port are provided. Consumption is under 10 W.

Can the DS-KB8113-IME1 release a door lock?
The datasheet lists one alarm input and no lock relay. Door release is handled from the indoor station or a separate controller; if you need a relay at the door, the DS-KV8113-WME1 is the vandal-resistant station with two relays.
