Hikvision DS-KV8213-WME1 — 2-button metal villa door station for 2 flats

The DS-KV8213-WME1 is the 2-button member of Hikvision's KV8 metal villa door station line. It is the simple answer for a converted house or small block where 2 flats share a front door: each resident has a labelled button, each call goes to that flat's indoor station or Hik-Connect app, and the door is released from either. It shares the IK08 / IP65 metal housing and 174 × 91 × 29 mm footprint with the one-button DS-KV8113-WME1 and the 4-button DS-KV8413-WME1, so the three can be specified to match across a development. For larger blocks Hikvision's modular DS-KD8005-IME1 with nametag modules scales further.

This is part of Hikvision's IP video intercom range: door stations, indoor stations and accessories that connect over a standard network (PoE or 12 VDC) and are configured with the iVMS-4200 client or the Hik-Connect app. IP-series products are designed to be used together within that range. One camera, several flats

A single 1080p camera (129° horizontal, 75° vertical) covers the entrance for every flat; whoever is called sees the same view. IR supplement lighting covers night-time calls, and WDR handles a bright street behind the visitor. Video goes over 10/100 Mbps Ethernet using TCP/IP and RTSP, so the door camera can also be recorded on a Hikvision NVR.

Door control

Two lock relays with two exit-button inputs and two door-contact inputs cover an outer and an inner door, and four alarm inputs plus an RS-485 port are available for extras. Local memory holds 2000 users for multi-factor authentication. Power comes over standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af) or 12 VDC and consumption stays under 10 W.

Built for a shared entrance

The metal housing is rated IK08 against impact and IP65 against weather, with a -40 °C to +55 °C operating range and three indicators for call, door and status. It surface-mounts at 174 × 91 × 29 mm.
