The RG-EG105G-V3 is a Reyee cloud managed router for small-sized networks. It has five 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, dual-WAN load balancing with failover, and throughput of 1000 Mbps in Turbo Mode.

What the RG-EG105G-V3 is for

Ruijie position this router for small-sized networks that want simplified configuration. Advanced functions can be configured through the Ruijie Reyee app, with centralised network management and remote monitoring.

Two WAN links can share traffic by link weight, with failover if one drops. It supports IPSec, OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP VPNs, blocks unwanted applications using an automatically updating app library, and allows secure remote monitoring of an NVR, IPC or internal server. Throughput is 1000 Mbps in Turbo Mode and 600 Mbps in Normal Mode, with around 100 clients recommended.

You need an internet connection for the WAN port and Ethernet cable for each device. Ruijie list no PoE budget, so cameras or access points need their own power or a PoE switch. The RG-EG105G-P-V3 is the version with a 54 W PoE budget.
