RUIJIE REYEE - RG-EW1300G - AC1300 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Gigabit Wireless Router

RG-EW1300G — AC1300 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Gigabit Wireless Router

The Ruijie Reyee RG-EW1300G is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 wireless router with Gigabit Ethernet ports and five external omnidirectional antennas. Ruijie describe it as suited to an entry-level Gigabit network, with Reyee Mesh 3.0 support.

What the RG-EW1300G is for

Ruijie present the RG-EW1300G as a Wi-Fi 5 router for an entry-level Gigabit network. It runs at up to 400 Mbps on 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps on 5 GHz, with five external antennas giving 4 dBi gain on 2.4 GHz and 5.5 dBi on 5 GHz.

The WAN and LAN Ethernet ports are Gigabit, which Ruijie describe as up to ten times faster than regular Ethernet. The recommended load is 8 clients on 2.4 GHz and 24 on 5 GHz, so it suits a household rather than a large number of users.

Set-up is done in the Reyee Router App, and Ruijie also state project-based cloud management with the Ruijie Cloud App. Reyee Mesh 3.0 is supported for extending coverage, and parental controls are listed among the functions.
