What the RG-EW300 PRO is for

Ruijie position the RG-EW300 PRO as a Wi-Fi 4 home router for Megabit bandwidth. It works on 2.4 GHz only, at up to 300 Mbps, with four 5 dBi omnidirectional antennas and signal amplifiers (FEM) for stable connections.

The four Ethernet ports are described as Megabit ports, and the recommended load is 8 clients on the 2.4 GHz band. That makes it a modest router, so check it against your broadband speed and the number of devices before ordering.

WISP and repeater modes are supported to extend Wi-Fi signals over a wider range. The Reyee Router App is used for set-up, remote management, parental control and guest Wi-Fi. The specification lists Ruijie Cloud management as supported but Reyee Mesh 3.0 as not supported.

What you will need

You need an internet connection from your provider and the Reyee Router App for set-up. The box contains the router, a power adapter, a quick start guide and a UTP cable. No. The specification lists a single 2.4 GHz band at up to 300 Mbps, using Wi-Fi 4 (IEEE 802.11n).

Are the RG-EW300 PRO Ethernet ports Gigabit?

No. Ruijie describe four Megabit Ethernet ports and say the router suits Megabit bandwidth. If you have a faster line, ask us or look at a Gigabit router.
