The TP-Link Deco M4 (1-pack) is an AC1200 dual-band Wi-Fi 5 mesh Wi-Fi unit. It delivers 867 Mbps on 5 GHz and 300 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, and has two gigabit WAN/LAN auto-sensing ports. It is set up and managed in the TP-Link Deco app.

What you will need

A broadband modem or ISP router with an Ethernet port, a smartphone for the Deco app, and a power socket for each unit.

Is the Deco M4 Wi-Fi 6?

No, it is AC1200 Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac). For Wi-Fi 6 choose the Deco X50.

Can I add it to my existing Deco system?

Yes. TP-Link state that all Decos work together in one mesh network.

Can the units be wired together?

Yes, optional Ethernet backhaul is supported using the gigabit ports.

Can I keep my ISP router?

Yes. Connect the main Deco to it and use Access Point mode so the ISP router keeps routing.

How quickly can I get it?

Stocked items are dispatched for delivery within 1-3 working days to England, Scotland and Wales; we do not ship to Northern Ireland.
